Owner of a few months finds it excellent for productivity, gaming and 4K HDR media thanks to pixel density.
“it has been one of the best purchases I’ve made in years regarding QoL.”
From owners, and from around the web with the source linked.
Owner of a few months finds it excellent for productivity, gaming and 4K HDR media thanks to pixel density.
“it has been one of the best purchases I’ve made in years regarding QoL.”
Owner at 5868 hours with all OLED care on reports no burn-in and nothing significant.
“Mine's at 5868 hours, no burn in, nothing of significance to report.”
Their ASUS XG27ACDNG plays fine with no issues.
“I have a XG27ACDNG, seems fine to play it no issues.”
Owned the Alienware 39-inch 5K2K and returned it because of poor uniformity for productivity work, calling it otherwise the better screen; switched to LG's 39-inch 5K2K.
“If you care for uniformity for productivity even a slight bit, get the LG. The AW is fundamentally flawed, unfortunately, because otherwise, it is the better screen.”
Their AW3225QF's OSD joystick has misbehaved since day one; Dell blamed a controller fault, and after three years they took the monitor apart to inspect the joystick and ribbon cable themselves.
“I have a AW3225QF and had the same problem since day one.”
Owner sees a group of pixels flashing randomly in one game, even with the original cable.
“When I’m playing deadlock my monitor has a group of pixels flashing randomly while in a match.”
A recent XG27AQWMG buyer says HDR is simply amazing in games after calibration, but SDR is still poor with unbalanced brightness despite ICC profiles and tweaks.
“HDR is simply amazing in games (you'd have to tweak almost each game separately in its HDR/Brightness settings unfortunately, there's no escaping that”
Upgraded from an AW3423DW to the PG34WCDN and found the difference small: everything looks a little crisper thanks to the RGB-stripe layout and HDR is a bit brighter, but not a big improvement.
“Went from AW3423DW to a PG34WCDN. Wasn't a huge difference tbh.”
Their first OLED, the PG32UCDM3, leaves them very satisfied.
“i have almost same monitor (PG32UCDM3) and its my first oled. im so satisfied with this monitor.”
A day in with the AW3926QW, sees no CPC dimming so far and little difference in picture from their AW3426DW.
“I received it yesterday and honestly cannot see much of a difference to the AW3426DW which I've had since release.”
Uses the U4025QW for coding and calls it a straight upgrade if it fits on the desk: sharp text and very nice to use; the only downside is a slow response time, which rarely matters for them.
“If it fits on your desk, it’s basically a straight upgrade. Text is sharp, feels very nice to use, one issue is the response time isn’t that good”
Upgraded from the AW3423DWF to the AW3926QW and says the bigger size and pixel density were worth it: much sharper than the older 1440p QD-OLED with similar brightness, though the older panel's colours have a slight edge.
“the new one is significantly sharper, brightness to my eyes about the same. Brighter if you use Dolby Vision mode.”
Has had the U4025QW for a month and is very happy; the extra screen space at its higher resolution is a game changer.
“Its been great. Very happy with it so far; I've had it for one month and got a price match for it through Dell directly. The extra screen space is a game changer with the higher resolution.”
Went from an AW3423DW to the AW3926QW and now uses both; the QD-OLED has a bit more native colour pop, but the AW3926QW is easily matched, shows cleaner greys and has clearly better text clarity from its RGB layout and higher resolution.
“the Wo is very close/easily adjusted to match while having superior clarity in text due to rgb layout and resolution increase. QD has dirtier looking grays while the Wo is clean.”
Upgraded from the AW3423DWF to the AW3926QW with no regrets: it can look dimmer than the old monitor, but films and games at 5K2K are worth it; notes it takes a 4090 or 5090 to run games at high settings.
“I went from the DWF to the QW and don’t regret it at all. It can appear dimmer than the DWF, but watching movies and playing games at this resolution is well worth it.”
Has used the 39-inch Alienware 5K2K for six weeks: the edge dimming bothered them for the first two weeks, but they no longer notice it when gaming, and colour saturation and highlights pop more than their previous LG C5 TV.
“I've had the AW39" for 1.5 months. The edge dimming bothered me for the first two weeks while I was reading all the static (good/bad) about it.”
Stopped noticing the AW3926QW's edge dimming after a couple of weeks, except in Teams meetings where the participant list at the screen edge looks washed out; accepts it because the monitor is otherwise so good.
“I always notice how washed out the participants list looks on the edge of the screen. I’m okay with this given how good the monitor is otherwise.”
Swapped an LG 45-inch 5K2K for the Alienware 39-inch 5K2K and finds it amazing, with great-looking text.
“I swapped my LG5K2K 45 for the Alienware 39” 5K2K. Honestly it’s been amazing and text looks great!”
Bought and returned the Alienware 39-inch 5K2K: the edge dimming was unacceptable and the anti-glare coating sub-par, with text clarity from the RGB layout its only real strength; recommends LG's 39-inch instead.
“Had AW, returned. My bet is that AW must have an insane return rate. Edge dimming is shit, unless your okay with compromises.”
Has owned both 39-inch 5K2K OLEDs; the Alienware has excellent, punchy colour and inky blacks from its glossy screen, but overall brightness leaves something to be desired and the CPC edge dimming is annoying for productivity.
“The Alienware is excellent and the colors do have a pop. Decent brightness but the overall brightness of the screen does leave a bit to be desired.”
Their AW2726DM had the flicker defect; their MSI is brighter, and they'd keep the Alienware for dark rooms.
“This is the flickering issue I had on theAlienware aw2726dm.”
Their first unit had banding almost everywhere and went back; the second is much better, with banding only at very low grey levels and some dirty screen effect.
“I got the second XG27AQWMG today (April 2026 batch) and it's so much better. It's still visible in very low grey percentages”
Really great with no banding in blacks; in Resident Evil Requiem its brightness made their Sony OLED TV look weak.
“That screen is really great. Didn’t see any so called banding in black.”
On their second LG 39GX950B, the cooling fan still makes a whine that is audible at a normal sitting distance.
“This is my 2nd unit already and it does the noise. I don’t even have to put my ear next to the vent to hear it. It’s audible at a normal distance.”
About a month after mounting their AW3926QW straight from the box, a gap opened between panel and frame in two spots along the top; Dell support first called it wear and tear or physical damage not covered by warranty, then the social media team offered to look into it.
“About a month now after receiving it I noted that there was a gap forming in two spots along the top of the monitor.”
Coming from an ASUS 4K OLED, found the AW3426DW washed out and dim in SDR and in every HDR mode (True Black and Peak 1300) even after adjusting settings, and is returning it; other owners in the thread say theirs look great.
“compared to the Asus the Alienware doesn’t even feel like an OLED, the colors look super washed out and brightness seems horrible”
They really like it at a decent price and just ordered a second one.
“I really like the asus xg27acdng and price point is decent. Actually just ordered a 2nd one”
After a year with Alienware's curved 32-inch OLED they find it very beautiful and don't notice the curve at all, though their flat TV now takes adjusting to.
“I've had the Monitor aswell for the past year & its very beautiful. I don't even notice the curve at all”
A really good monitor after a year, but 4K is needlessly hard to drive at high refresh rates for them.
“Had the LG 32GS95 for just over a year with these specs 4070 Ti Super 7800X3D 32GB 6000 DDR5 It’s a really good monitor”
Having owned many OLED monitors, this one blew them away; its coating removes the purple tint QD-OLEDs get when light hits the screen.
“If you have a big budget, take the ROG PG32 UCDM3. I had a lot of Oled monitors but this one blew me away.”
After 200+ hours the grey banding hasn't improved and they notice it in almost every dark scene in games and movies.
“I thought the monitor would "break in" after about 100 hours, but I've now used it for 200+ and it hasn't improved.”
An owner of Alienware's curved 32-inch 240Hz OLED finds the curve subtle and sensible at 32 inches and recommends it.
“I know a lot of people hated on the Alienware 32inch 240hz oled for being curved. I have it and I do think that the curve makes sense at 32 inches.”
Bought it after reading many reviews and finds it an amazing display they are very happy with.
“PG32UCDM3 is what I purchased after reading a tons of reviews and it was always listed as the top recommendation or one of the top ones. It's an amazing display”
Owns the XG32UCWMG personally and rates it as top tier.
“personally got XG32UCWMG and its top tier”
After two RMAs the last one fixed 90% of the issues, but expecting banding or DSE to come back they are weighing the refund.
“After 2 RMAs, I was offered a refund option for my monitor. I must admit, this last RMA solved 90% of the issues”
Upgraded from an AW3225QF and likes it a lot: phenomenal glossy coating with no black raise, better HDR and useful dual mode for Overwatch, but it has grey banding.
“I just upgraded from an AW3225QF to the XG32UQWMS and I like the Asus a lot. TrueBlack glossy coating is phenomenal”
Bought the ASUS PG34WCDN and highly recommends it, though it is pricier than other 34-inch 5th-gen QD-OLEDs.
“I grabbed the Asus pg34wcdn. Bit pricey for some but I can highly recommend it for those that are able.”
They absolutely love it: looks sharper at 4K than 1440p with a few settings lowered, and they see no text fringing.
“I recently got the Gigabyte MO32U24 because everyone was recommending it and I absolutely love it.”
A great display for games after a 144Hz IPS, with bright tandem-OLED highlights at 1440p high refresh.
“I have it, it’s a great display for playing games. Upgraded from 144hz IPS.”
Their first OLED arrived with lines on grey backgrounds that stayed after several pixel-cleaning runs.
“I’ve noticed some lines on grey and dark grey backgrounds. Is this normal for OLED screens?”
Their first OLED, the Samsung G50SF 27-inch, has been fantastic.
“Ordered myself my first OLED last week, Samsung 27” Odyssey OLED G5 (G50SF). It's been fantastic.”
Under a week with the G95SD: it sometimes fails to detect the PC over DisplayPort and randomly thinks the PC is off; Samsung support was no help.
“I own a Samsung Odyssey OLED G95SD 49", paid $1200 at microcenter.”
Has used both the LG 39-inch 5K2K and the Alienware 39; the LG's brightness and pop in bright HDR scenes stand out, the matte finish was a non-issue, though reds looked a little off and it lacks the glossy screen's inky blacks.
“The brightness and pop can’t be overstated.”
As an AW3926QW owner, finds the uniformity issues only show up if you go looking for them; in gaming and HDR content they aren't noticeable and the monitor is great.
“In ordinary use, gaming and HDR content, you will likely not notice uniformity issues.”
Owns the Dell U4025QW and finds its colour and detail excellent.
“I have the Dell U4025wq and it’s absolutely blissful in color and detail.”
Uses the Neo G9 57-inch for productivity on a 55-inch desk; needed a desk mount to push it back and still feels heat on their face, and an FPS game made them dizzy within minutes.
“It's ridiculously big. I use mine for productivity. I played a FPS game once with it and got dizzy AF after few minutes, never again.”
Upgraded from an AW3423DWF to the AW3426DW a week ago and finds it amazing for gaming and work.
“Upgrade to the aw3426dw last week and I have no regrets it is an amazing display.”
They absolutely love their PG32UCDM; coming from an LG 39-inch OLED, the picture quality is night and day.
“I have ASUS PG32UCDM absolutely love it”
They returned their PG27AQWP-W for grey banding, though it had the wow factor the QD-OLED lacked.
“My woled is asus pg27aqwp and the qd is the msi mpg x50 27 inch 1440p. The woled had the wow factor.”
They've used the AW3225QF since last year: an awesome OLED panel.
“is that AW3225QF? I've been using this since last year, awesome OLED panel.”
Switching from a WOLED to the MSI MPG X50 27-inch 1440p QD-OLED, games look grainy, like 720p-1080p, and colours are oversaturated unless HDR is on.
“I sent my woled back becuase of the grey banding issue and got the qd oled and my god is it so bad.”
Side by side with the EX321UZ OLED, the mini-LED is too contrasty with crushed blacks.
“the same issue I have on my EX321UX miniled vs the EX321UZ OLED, the miniled is just way too contrasty meaning crashed blacks.”
Preferred it side by side over the EX321UX mini-LED.
“after having them side by side it's just too difficult to unsee it, my next monitor is gonna be an OLED for sure.”
Owned since July 2026: the banding line seems to fade after 700 hours, with no burn-in and only occasional image retention.
“I'm aware of the line, but it seems to start to get less after 700h. I've had it since July 2026.”
Calls it the best for the price and beautiful, with no grey banding on their panel.
“XG32UQWMS is the best for this price”
Owns one and finds it so good, with no regrets and zero flaws.
“MO32U24 is so good. I have one. No regrets, zero flaws.”
Has loved it for about a year on a 5080 and 9800X3D.
“I’ve had this monitor for about a year now and I love it. I have a 5080 and 9800x3d .”
On the same model the pixel cleaner sometimes leaves lines that take up to six manual runs to clear, which they blame on firmware.
“I have the same model, sometimes the image cleaner leaves mine exactly like yours, then i run it manually again and it gets a lot better”
Uses the AW3926QW mostly for work with some gaming and finds it fantastic: cheaper than their previous 39-inch with higher resolution and better colours; brightness could be better but is fine turned up, even in afternoon sun.
“I bought the display and have been using it for mostly work, bit of gaming, and it's fantastic. Cost way less than my last 39", higher res, better colours, etc.”
After returning other OLEDs for gray banding and text fringing, the AW3426DW is the first they kept, and they like it.
“The AW3426DW is the first OLED i've tried that I didn't have to return right away”
Side by side, their old AW3225QF beats the AW3926QW they switched to; they can't get the WOLED as satisfying and its ABL is annoying.
“I had worked out my perfect settings on the aw3225qf.”
Not impressive: dimmer than their regular 4K IPS, so they're moving to mini-LED.
“I got the new Benq mobiuz ex321uz with the best current OLED panel, True Black 500 but its just not impressive as its dimmer than my regular 4K IPS.”
Really good and one of the best OLED monitors to them, though it has grey banding and the glossy panel picks up micro scratches from a cloth.
“İ am using the exact same model, it is really good but have 2 bad sides, first grey bending obviously”
Not happy with it: they cite banding, mura and near-black artifacts typical of tandem WOLED panels.
“I have LG 27GX700A-B and I am not happy with it, but I am talking in general about Tandem WOLED”
A couple of days in they noticed banding in Google dark mode and are considering a QD-OLED instead.
“Just picked up this LG 27GX704A-B monitor a couple days ago and noticed some banding yesterday while using Google dark mode.”
Picky about image quality, their AW3926QW shows uniformity issues on single-colour test images, but in normal use they notice only bright colours, sharpness, deep blacks and the huge size; not for all-day white spreadsheets.
“What I notice is the beautiful bright colors, sharpness, deep blacks and huge size.”
After a flat Samsung OLED underwhelmed them, switching to the AW3225 finally delivered impressive HDR.
“Returned it because i hate flat screens, for a AW3225, and holy shit, there was the HDR!”
Upgraded from an LG C2 TV to the AW3926QW for World of Warcraft and is keeping it; can't see any issue in regular use and has no complaints.
“Keeping it, bought it for WoW forever, upgrading from an LG C2 TV and couch keyboard”
Tested the AW3926QW side by side with LG's 39-inch at matched brightness and returned the Alienware: a white-to-grey gradient on the left side was distracting on white backgrounds, a dealbreaker for a monitor that doubles for work.
“I wanted to keep the AW, but the left side of the screen had this gradient from white to gray that I couldn’t get over.”
A month after moving from the AW3225QF to the AW3926QW, it's great for immersion but they regret it and would return it if they could.
“after a month of using my aw3926qf, I have regrets.”
Won over by the glossy finish and blacks; little banding noticed in games.
“From the very first moment, I was won over by its glossy finish and how it renders black”
Upgraded from a 38-inch Alienware IPS to the Alienware 39 OLED and finds it beautiful and far more immersive; ran it on a 4090, and now on a 5080 relies on DLSS and frame generation.
“It's beautiful and worth it the 39 Alienware OLED is such a worthy upgrade from my 3840x1600 AW IPS 38. Everything is so much more beautiful and immersive.”
Bought both the U4025QW and the AW3926QW; the Dell's matte finish handled reflections better, its brightness was easier to tune with no hotspots, and the candle-light mode is very comfortable on the eyes.
“IPS brightness was way better and easier to tune with no hotspots in the center. Candle light feature makes it ultra comfortable on the eyes”
Recently bought the Neo G9 57-inch and still thinks it's great, but it runs hot enough that they keep a desk fan on it to move the heat away from their hands.
“I got it recently but I have to have a fan pointed at it to circulate the heat away from my hands.”
Their G60SF is full of annoyances: poor profile software, slow or failed wake and constant input pop-ups.
“I have the g60sf, my first and last Samsung monitor. So many annoyances and the software for tweaking the monitor and creating auo-switching profiles is complete garbage.”
Their second XG27AQDMG panel also glitches briefly to the right, repeatedly in intense games.
“This is the second one of these panels I’ve had with this issue. Every now and again it’ll quickly glitch to the right.”
After a month of daily use, they noticed glinting flecks under the surface of their MPG 272URX panel, mostly near the middle.
“I purchased this MSI MPG 272URX QD-OLED a month ago and it has been in daily use since.”
They were really happy with the AW3225QF they owned before.
“I also previously owned an Alienware AW3225QF, which I was really happy with.”
The banding on their MO27Q28G is horrible and appeared quickly, so they're thinking of returning it.
“so i have a mo27q28g woled and the banding is horrible and didn't take too long to be noticeable”
They absolutely loved the PG32UCDM3's 4K QD-OLED, 240 Hz, Dolby Vision and design, but it developed a display defect within a month.
“My ASUS ROG Swift PG32UCDM3 unfortunately developed a display defect within just a month of purchase.”
Their FO27Q3 had brightness flicker on the desktop with DSC, which they fixed with custom timings via CRU.
“on my FO27Q3 I've had brightness flickering on desktop via dp or HDMI when DSC was in use”
Switched from a 34-inch 3440x1440 Samsung ultrawide to the Alienware 39-inch 5K2K with a 4090 and loves the extra height and the sharpness from the higher pixel density, with no performance problems so far.
“I'm loving it so far, the extra hight you get makes it more immersive. And the sharpness from the extra ppi is great!”
After more than two years with the AW3225QF they clean it easily with distilled water and the included cloth, though it gets dirty fast.
“i own aw3225qf since 2024 for more than 2 years”
They own the MO27Q28G and honestly love it.
“Gigabyte mo27q28g or the mo32u24 (32' 4k qd-oled). I have both of them and I honestly love them both.”
Tired of switching between monitors, they bought the PG32UCDM3 as a single monitor for everything and are quite happy.
“bought the Asus PG32UCDM3 as a single monitor for everything and I am quite happy with it”
Bought both; the AW3926QW was noticeably better for watching content but worse for productivity because of edge dimming, pixel cleaning and glossy reflections.
“Do agree content watching on the AW was noticeably better but everywhere else from a productivity standpoint was noticeably worse.”
After 1000 hours and about 150 pixel-clean cycles their MO27Q28G still shows visible grey banding in dark games, and hiding it costs picture detail.
“After 1000h of use and about 150 pixel clean cycles. Same as it was on beginning.”
After two weeks with the AW3926QW, their first OLED: stunning picture, crisp text and deep blacks; the glossy screen's anti-reflective coating makes it more usable in a bright room than their matte Dell UltraSharp.
“stunning picture, crisp text, amazingly deep blacks. Standout feature for me is the glossy screen and the AR coating on it. This monitor is more usable in a bright room than my matte Dell ultrasharp next to it.”
Their new MO27Q28G flickers on the Windows desktop with G-Sync on, even with VRR and power saving off.
“I have just bought my first OLED monitor and noticed flickering in desktop with GSync On”
Their XG27AQWMG's automatic pixel clean causes heavy gray banding that needs a manual clean; they filed a bug report with ASUS.
“I've been seeing more and more posts both here and on Asus forums regarding a bug on the automatic Pixel clean causing exaggerated grey banding and DSE which requires a manual clean to fix.”
Their XG32UQWMS is very good and their panel has no gray banding.
“I have that monitor (XG32UQWMS) it is very good and my panel has no gray banding”
After a month using the AW3926QW beside a Dell U4025QW for office work, coding, CAD and gaming: great for documents and games, but colour isn't accurate across the whole screen for photo work, and bright morning light causes glossy glare.
“Somebody else thinks the AW3926QW is soooo sub-optimal to view word documents, I've used it for a month and say - no way it's actually great.”
After a month with the U4025QW beside the AW3926QW: the Dell has the better text clarity and is the pick for colour-critical work and mostly-productivity users; its response time is perfectly fine for Arc Raiders.
“Does the Dell objectively have better text clarity? Yes. Is it an deal breaker over the AW? Absolutely not.”
Has owned the Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch for over three years, runs it more than eight hours a day and still loves it; notes it draws only 50–60 W without HDR.
“Can't believe that I have it since three years and one to two months. Love it and it's running over aight hours a day”
Just after warranty ended, a defect appeared along the right edge of their 27GR95QE-B and has been spreading for a month.
“I noticed this appear just a few days after the warranty period, and since then, it's been around a month and it's spreading throughout the right edges of the monitor.”
Upgraded to the G60SF for 500 Hz OLED, but the plastic around the OSD joystick broke after 2 weeks on two units.
“After just 2 weeks of normal use, the plastic around the OSD joystick/button literally disintegrated.”
Owns both the AW3926QW and the U4025QW; the Alienware is far better for content and input lag, easy to set to a comfortable brightness, and its text is nearly as clear as the Dell's.
“the AW3926QW in my opinion is insanely better for content consumption, the input lag between the two is night and day.”
Owns both the U4025QW and the AW3926QW; can't get the Dell's IPS brightness dialled in comfortably and finds its matte finish more noticeable than the Alienware's gloss with a light behind the monitor.
“I also I found that the IPS panel is too bright for me, I still can’t dial that in correctly”
Bought the Neo G9 57-inch open box nearly two years ago and it has been perfectly fine with the 2.0/2.1 firmware update; used it for work, now only for gaming, and sometimes wishes it were OLED.
“I got this monitor open box on Black Friday for $780 nearly two years ago and still can’t believe my luck.”
Runs the AW3926QW in its 2560x1080 330 Hz mode with a Steam Machine and it still looks amazing.
“Of course, I'm running the monitor at 2560x1080p 330hz mode. To be honest... it still looks amazing”
Bought the Neo G9 57-inch at launch and returned it because of how much heat it gave off.
“I had one of those when it released in the summer. My face is still read from heat burns from the amount of heat it puts out. I returned it because of that.”
Owns the Neo G9 57-inch and finds games like Forza Horizon 6 and Destiny 2 look unreasonably good on it with settings maxed.
“Forza Horizon 6 has been consuming my life because of this display. It looks unreasonably good with all the options cranked.”
Their AW3926QW has some edge dimming that doesn't bother them.
“Mine has similar-looking edge dimming (although hard to say from a photo) and it doesn’t bother me at all.”
The MPG 274URDFW E16M only matches the cheaper MAG's blacks at local dimming level 3, which turns greys brown, crushes blacks and shows visible zones following the mouse.
“Causes greys to become brown, the gamma curve becomes a bit weird, crushing of blacks, and just creates an unusable and unpleasant experience”
Loved the 27GX700A-B's picture despite gray uniformity and VRR issues, but it showed burn-in after only about 600 hours.
“I loved the picture, despite some issues with gray uniformity and VRR instability. However, I don't think burn-in is supposed to happen after only 600 hours”
Over a year with the AOC Q27G3XMN: HDR factory calibration was way off until they built a custom LUT; brighter than their Philips OLED, but worse in contrast, saturation and clarity.
“Factory calibration for HDR was way off for my sample”
Just got the AW3226Q as their first OLED and finds it absolutely beautiful.
“It’s my first OLED but I’m in disbelief. Absolutely beautiful”
Has used the Neo G9 57-inch for a few years and finds it amazing, to the point of ignoring new releases; just hopes it lasts ten years or more.
“I’ve had mine a few years now and it’s been amazing. I don’t even pay attention to new monitor releases because I can’t imagine finding anything “better” for my needs.”
Just got the XG27ACDNG and is underwhelmed by its colors.
“Just got ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACDNG and the colors are NOT blowing me away.”
Their AW2725DF (1440p 360Hz, RTX 5070 Ti over DP 2.1) randomly blacks out and power-cycles in a loop while gaming, even after NVIDIA's hotfix driver.
“Occasionally, while gaming, my monitor suddenly goes black and starts turning on and off repeatedly in a continuous loop.”
Uses the PG32UCDM Gen 3 with an Apple TV 4K and finds it great for both media and gaming.
“the PG32UCDM line are great, especially the Gen 3, which is what I use.”
Their first G80SH 32 arrived with a deformed frame and bulging glass, and the replacement has DisplayPort failures and artifacts.
“I'm on my **second Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH, 32", 4K 240Hz)**, and this entire experience has been a complete shitshow.”
After 13 months and 5000 hours with all care features on, their XG27AQDMG developed a bright streak in the middle of the screen.
“The bright streak in the middle of the screen has only appeared in the last 2 weeks and is noticeable in dark games.”
Finds the MSI 271QPX32 amazing: natural colors, excellent HDR highlights, excellent uniformity, easy setup, and a black film that deepens blacks.
“This monitor is amazing, haven’t been a fan of previous MSI models”
Bought two AW3926QW units and both had issues and a dim screen; coming from a PG32UCDM3 it felt like a brightness downgrade, and the LG 39GX was brighter without the problems.
“I brought 2 of these and all had issues and the screen was dim. LG39GX is brighter and doesn’t have these problems.”
Uses the MSI MPG E16M Mini-LED for PS5 and PC: HDR looks amazing with no flicker, blooming or black crush.
“I have the MPG version which is more premium tier. Used it for PS5 and PC, the HDR looks amazing”
Using the Q27G3XMN with a PS5, they can't get HDR at 1440p (it forces 2160p and looks grey), so apart from its brightness it feels like wasted money.
“The only good think i got out of this monitor is the brightness. So it feels like I've poured money down the drain.”
Sold their Neo G9 57-inch, regretted it and bought another; after trying an LG C2, the AW3225QF and a Samsung 32-inch QD-OLED, still finds the 57-inch the most satisfying.
“I regretted selling mine a while back. Decided to get another one a couple weeks ago. Definitely my favorite monitor.”
Their AW2725DF developed a slight pink tint; Dell replaced it under warranty but the replacement shows the same tint.
“I purchased this monitor back in April 2024. A few months ago, I noticed something was different then the previous day, and it ended up being that the monitor had a very slight, almost imperceptible pink hue”
Returned the AW3926QW partly because SDR brightness was poor next to LG's 39-inch, though text looked really good thanks to the RGB-stripe layout.
“Yes I returned it and this was one of the reasons. SDR brightness is piss poor on this panel.”
Coming from an LG 34-inch IPS and an LG C1, found the AW3926QW too dim for SDR browsing, with eye strain, and later returned it.
“Not really happy with the brightness overall.”
Plays Destiny 2 on the AW3926QW with native HDR and finds highlights pop and colours accurate; edge dimming only shows on solid white and pale orange looks slightly green at the right edge, not enough to return a 5K2K RGB OLED that costs $600 less than the LG.
“Dimming isn't really noticeable in anything that isn't a solid white pane.”
Two days into owning the AW3926QW, can see the edge uniformity issue only when looking for it, not in games or everyday use, and thinks the rest of the monitor makes it a great choice.
“Tbh i dont even notice it myself in any game or everyday usage, i can see it if i focus but seems to be acceptable level”
Their new late-2025-batch XG27AQWMG shows bad banding lines in dark scenes and grayscale tests despite firmware updates and pixel cleaning.
“This morning it looked fine, but I could see some lines playing Hunt Showdown, now in the dark it’s pretty bad.”
Tried newer QD-OLEDs but went back to their XG32UCWMG, which they consider the king for deep blacks.
“I have tried the newer QD-OLED panels and found myself going back to my XG32UCWMG.”
Got the XG32UQWMS and loves it; a night-and-day difference from their AW3423DWF.
“Coming from a older panel QD oled(AW3423dwf) this is a night and day difference to me.”
Has played about 50 hours of Destiny 2 on the AW3926QW in TB500 mode with Auto HDR and enjoyed it; the low-resolution dual mode looked terrible.
“I’ve played D2 for like 50 hours on the AW39 and I have enjoyed the experience”
A week in with the AW3426DW on a 5090: fantastic, apart from needing a Chrome fix for oversaturation; switches inputs between work and home machines with hotkeys.
“Just got mine a week ago. Hooked up to a 5090. It's fantastic.”
Their XG27UCDMG QD-OLED shows color banding in gradients too.
“I've the same monitor as yours, as well as an XG27UCDMG QD-OLED. The banding is there on both models.”
Switched to the PG27UCDM after three years on an MSI QD-OLED and is happy with it, though it doesn't auto pixel-clean after shutdown like the MSI did.
“i have been used MSI 271QRX for almost three year after that i switch to the pg27ucdm, im happy with the monitor”
Has owned the AW3225QF for 2 years and loves it, praising the factory calibration and Dell support.
“I do use an AW3225QF and love it so much!”
Bought the 27GR95QE-B at launch and used it heavily daily for about 4 years of work and gaming with no burn-in.
“I used the HELL out of it. College work, work "work", and gaming were things I did on it daily for god knows how many hours. There is not a single sign of burn-in to this day.”
Calls the MSI 321URX the best QD-OLED they've tried: great text clarity, good brightness, and a KVM switch and USB-C charging they use constantly.
“MSI 321URX. Hands down the best QD-OLED monitor I've tried. 4k 32 inch 240 hz.”
After 3775 hours in a year of daily text and web use, the FO32U2P works great with outstanding clarity, but its non-VESA-compliant back nearly damaged it on an arm, and stripes appeared until it pixel-cleaned.
“Apart above two, working great, clarity is outstanding, even now when I have open window at right hand”
Owns an XG27AQWMG and doesn't find its tandem WOLED banding bothersome.
“I have a XG27AQWMG and for my use case I don't find it bothersome but your milleage may vary”
Their AW3926QW showed significant dimming on the right side with white pages on the latest firmware; gorgeous in CS2, but bought for 80% productivity work, so they are returning it.
“It's a shame as I played some cs2 and it was absolutely gorgeous, such a lovely display. But I did buy this for 80% productivity.”
Finds their XG27UCDMG unbelievable and amazing, their favourite of their two OLEDs.
“I have an XG27UCDMG that is unbelievable. It’s amazing.”
Had both: the PG27UCDM had less ABL dimming and slightly better colors with a semi-gloss coating, but they returned it because its text fringing caused eye strain.
“I returned the UCDM because I am sensitive to text fringing and couldn't use the monitor without eye strain.”
Went through three AW3926QW units (a scratch and a visible gap on the first two) and measured them with a calibrator: the edge dimming behaved practically the same on all three; finds 120 nits comfortable and HDR can get uncomfortably bright.
“I’ve tested three panels”
Really enjoys the XG27UCDMG, chose it over the PG version, and has watched 4K movies on it via PS5.
“Really enjoy the XG27ucdmg, I was going to get the PG version but I don’t really watch movies that much”
Just got the AW2726DM, coming from a cheap TCL TV, and was blown away by the picture.
“I just got the same 1. I was blown away by the image!”
Tried the AW3926QW and sent it back because its build quality was far worse than their U4025QW and AW3821DW.
“Tried the new AW3926QW and sent it back. The build quality is abysmal”
Has used the U4025QW for a couple of years and finds motion smearing much worse on macOS; misses their old AW3821DW.
“The smearing is so much worse on MacOS for whatever reason.”
A month in, finds constant HDR tweaking on the AW3426DW miserable: some games look amazing, others crushed or washed out, and ABL dimming in bright daytime scenes makes sunny areas look awful.
“There is no way you don’t notice the dimming when playing a game that’s in the daytime. The screen becomes so dark it makes the sunny areas look awful.”
Nearly 3 years on the AW3225QF with zero burn-in; an amazing monitor.
“AW3225QF - going for the 3 year now, 0 burn-in, amazing monitor.”
Uses the MSI MAG 341CQP QD-OLED X28; the worst thing is still scratch resistance despite the new film, which they've learned to live with.
“I’m currently using the MSI MAG 341CQP QD-OLED X28 which is a 5th gen qd oled ultrawide. The worse thing about qd oleds even with this new armour film is still the scratch resistance”
Their new AW3226Q was dead on arrival (power LED blinking SOS); Dell arranged an exchange via email support.
“TLDR: if the power button blinks red, spells sos in Morse code (...---...) it has hardware problem.”
Uses the MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 at 500Hz for CS2 and finds it beautiful and great for their game.
“Is 500Hz too much for CS2? Probably! Does it maximize my endorphins and make me better in my head? Absolutely! Also, it just looks beautiful.”
Moved from a 35" ultrawide to the LG 32GX870A-B: a keeper, crisp 4K with great color depth and contrast out of the box.
“Overall, it's a keeper and I'm quite pleased with it.”
After 17 trouble-free months, their XG27AQDMG developed a persistent artifact that survived resets, cables and driver updates, likely needing an RMA.
“Had this monitor for about 17 months now, no issues at all. turned the monitor on the other day and this is appearing?”
Returned the AW3926QW despite its good £1000 price because the aggressive CPC edge dimming, which they say affects every unit, was unacceptable.
“I'm glad I returned mine even though the monitor is very well priced for £1000, is still alot of money and the CPC implementation is not acceptable.”
Bought the AW3426DW on sale and loves it; ultrawide took some getting used to, but games leave them in awe, coming from a 27" 240Hz WOLED.
“I bought the aw3426dw on the recent sale and love it. Ultrawide takes some getting used to but I’m in awe every time I turn a game on.”
Their first AW3926QW had atrocious edge dimming; the September 2026 replacement is far better, with only faint green tint on all-white images, and has been rock solid.
“My first panel was atrocious for the edge dimming, especially viewing an all-white or all-orange image. Returned it for a replacement and the new one is way better.”

No real issues on their LG 27GX700A-B; VRR flicker only on load screens.
“I have the newer 4th gen tandem one (700A-B) and havent had any real issues.”
Uses the PG32UCDM 4K OLED next to a Mini-LED, sees no text fringing even sitting close, and prefers its shadow detail.
“I use both a 4k mini led (odyssey g8 neo) and 4k oled (pg32ucdm) and I can't for the love of God see any text fringing on my OLED.”
Finds the AW3426DW great with perfect text; their only complaint is the lack of USB-C charging for a work laptop.
“This monitor is great, and text is perfect. I cannot fault it apart from no USB-C charging for work laptop.”
The XG27ACDNG had amazing colors but some flicker at 360Hz and dim whites; after trying a tandem WOLED that looked flat, they bought the ASUS back.
“Started with the ASUS XG27ACDNG (360Hz QD-OLED) from Micro Center. Colors were amazing, but I had some flicker at 360Hz, and bright white stuff looked kinda dim next to my IPS.”
Comparing against the AW3926QW, their AW3425DW QD-OLED has noticeably more color pop and depth and better viewing angles.
“I tried the Tandem OLED Alienware AW3926QW and compared it with my QD-OLED AW3425DW, and the difference is absolutely noticeable. The colors on QD-OLED have more pop and depth.”

“Every time I switch back to the PG32UCDM3 for single-player titles I’m wowed by the picture clarity, uniformity, and quality of the PG32UCDM3.”
Their AW3926QW passed dead-pixel, banding and uniformity checks; it is a little darker than the 27-inch IPS it replaced, fine for browsing after HDR calibration, and they are happy with it.
“Tested for dead pixels, banding, uniformity, colour dimming etc. All looks good to me, perfect in fact.”
Coming from the AW2725Q, finds the Gigabyte MO32U24 amazing: a brighter panel with much less raised blacks in a bright room.
“i completely agree with you, this monitor is simply amazing.”
Compared a larger monitor against their PG32UCDM and found the PG32UCDM has the nicer panel, though it now feels small.
“I plugged my PG32UCDM back in to compare and that thing feels tiny now. One downside is that the PG32UCDM definitely has a nicer panel.”
Replaced a Dell S3422DWG VA with the AW3426DW and was underwhelmed at first by washed-out colours in SDR and HDR games; Windows HDR settings and toggling HDR modes on the monitor mostly sorted it out.
“my AW3426DW showed up today and I immediately swapped out my Dell S3422DWG. When I first booted it up, colors looked washed out.”

“I’ve been enjoying it a lot so far. Text clarity is great, and the overall brightness in hdr is way better than previous oleds i’ve used.”
New AW3926QW owner in the UK: some power flickering at first that they blame on the cable, slight edge dimming on white screens that isn't too bad, otherwise great and keeping it.
“I have seen a slight dimming on the sides white screens but its not too bad so far.”

“I tried the Tandem OLED Alienware AW3926QW and compared it with my QD-OLED AW3425DW, and the difference is absolutely noticeable.”

“No doubt it’s amazing but after using the 5k2k, I was kinda disappointed as I missed the bigger screen”

“I have the same issue with the same monitor. The service team of LG says they dont have to fix it as its normal.”

“The AI dimming is pretty shit. Everything else is honestly great”
Tried the PG34WCDN after several 5K2K monitors; it came closest to what they wanted, but dropping from a 32-inch 4K to 34-inch 1440p cost too much sharpness and vertical space.
“I tried the PG34WCDN and this came the closest to being the one that fit what I wanted but dropping from a 32" 4K to a 34" 1440p was too much of a hit to both sharpness”

A first-time OLED owner upgrading from a 10-year-old IPS says the Alienware AW3226Q has not blown them away: HDR makes Windows look washed out, colours don't pop without it, and the settings are overwhelming.
“I don’t want to say I am having buyer's remorse, I am sure there's a sweet spot to get this running better, but I am upgrading from a 10 year old IPS monitor and just expecting more.”

“I got one from Best Buy, no issues so far (got 10/5).”
Went through several LG 39GX950B and AW3926QW units and each had banding, colour uniformity problems or damage; dislikes non-QD OLED and matte coatings and is back on a PG32UCDM3.

“It is a fantastic monitor. Between being a qd oled and probably the best screen coating I've seen among all oleds. I can highly recommend it.”
After a couple of weeks with the AW3926QW: CPC dimming never showed in HDR gaming but was very noticeable at low brightness on white documents at first, since less so; off-axis gamma shift is noticeable but not annoying.
“I never noticed the CPC issue during HDR gaming. But initally for work where I use low brightness it was very noticeable.”

An Alienware AW3426DW owner coming from IPS uses True Black 500 at modest brightness and says it is so bright in Cyberpunk 2077 that they can't understand complaints about it being dim.

Tried the LG 38GL950G, 45GX950A and 39GX950B and the U4025QW over a year; the Dell was their favourite, used 80% for Mac productivity and 20% PC gaming, with a little ghosting coming from OLED that doesn't bother them.
“The Dell was my favorite by far, and it's what I'm using today. I absolutely love it. I use it for 80% productivity on my Mac, and 20% gaming on my PC.”

Their July 2026 AW3926QW shows no visible problems, and they find its quality and features for the price outstanding; the KVM works fine for them through a hub.
“But the quality and features of this monitor for the price is insane and I don't see any problem here.”

Tried the AW3926QW and the discolouration at the sides was bad enough that grey and white chat messages looked the same; returning it within the return window.
“the discoloration is bad enough on the sides that I can't see the color difference between grey and white colored chat messages.”
Loves the MSI MPG 341CQR X36 34-inch ultrawide: RGB-stripe subpixels mean no text fringing, it's immersive, and causes no eyestrain.

“I noticed a very high frequency sound (my research said it might be coil whine) **only** when in standby.”

“Unfortunately it just doesn't get very bright full screen in the 1000 nits mode.”
Bought the AOC AG276QZD2 for $350 as a budget 280Hz QD-OLED, warning that early units without the update had to be returned.

“Still beautiful colors on the 34 and it’s been a blast.”
Their first OLED, the MSI 341CQR X36, kept changing brightness until they turned off AI dimming, and colour is inconsistent: oversaturated in some apps and games, fine in others.

“at first the colours hurt my eyes as well, try changing brightness.”
Bought the LG 39GX950B and the AW3926QW and kept the LG: its matte screen works better even in dim rooms, it is visibly brighter side by side, and it avoids the Alienware's dimming on white content such as hockey ice.
“The LG Matte screen is much better- even in dim or light controlled rooms. The Alienware really needs pitch black to shine.”
Bought the AW3926QW alongside the LG 39GX950B and returned the Alienware: liked its menus, PIP and KVM, but it needs a pitch-black room and its dimming and uniformity issues show clearly on white scenes like hockey ice.
“The panel dimming and uniformity issues on the Dell become VERY apparent when watching something with a white sheet of ice.”

“It's nice cause its ultrawide, HDR is shit tho. Latest updates made it bearable.”
Found the LG UltraGear GX9 39-inch 5K2K beautiful on the desktop but unusable in games because of severe VRR flicker; turning G-Sync off fixed it, which they found unacceptable for the price.
“Until now I didn't understand the flickering people were speaking about. Holy hell...this thing was a mess!”

“I have the same one for about a month now and its a great piece of tech.”

“It's... fine? But the sense of depth and the colors just aren't there compared to my TVS.”
Bought the XG32UQWMS for $700 coming from VA, a huge leap; colours look great, brightness is okay unless light hits the screen.

“I’m on a Samsung G81SF, I have a 9070XT, and I’ll tell you, on the vast vast majority of games I’m still hitting the 240 frame limit”

“Using this monitor as well and it’s absolutely glorious.”

“For productivity my secondary is a Dell S2725QS. IPS, 4k, 120hz.”

“I have this monitor, had it since Monday. And I just got used to it straight away.”

“the Gen 1 version of this display still has better color depth somehow.”

Two years with the AW3423DWF; text fringing was so bad they saw it even in games.
“I had a 3423DWF for a couple years, the fringing was so bad I could even see it in games.”

“theres a VERY obvious gray haze over the screen as visualized here.”
Their ASUS XG32UCWMG is good apart from harsh ABL dimming; they got a panel without gray banding.
“Besides the ABL dimming that feels like your getting flash banged the monitor is good.”

“I have had a Gigabyte MO27Q28G (Matte) for around a year now which no problems.”

Owns the LG 39GX950B and loves it for mixed work.
“I have the 39 and love it for cross functional work.”
Two years with the AW3423DWF after a 27-inch: top OLED and HDR, and the ultrawide immersion makes story games feel like movies.
“The OLED and HDR on AW3423DWF alone is top of the line; but what really impresses me is the ultrawide immersion.”
Two days into owning the AW3926QW, loves it; the high resolution and glossy coating are their favourite parts.
“Got mine 2 days ago and have been loving it! The high resolution and glossy coating are my favorite parts.”
Upgraded from an AW3423DWF to the AW3426DW and is really enjoying the 280 Hz and near-instant response, which feel unbelievably smooth.
“Really digging the 280hz and 0.03gtg. It's so smooth man its unbelievable.”
Returned the AW3225QF for a matte Samsung G80SD because the glossy OLED caused too much eye strain.
“I returned mine for the G80SD for this exact reason.”
Upgraded from a 49-inch 1440p VA to the AW3926QW with no panel or QC issues; the 2160p height is a game changer, text and images look much sharper, and a 9070 XT with FSR handles games well.
“Upgraded from 2nd gen 49” 1440p VA panel and honestly this is a night and day difference!”
Since October 1, the AW3225QF has caused dizziness and then eye strain during office work and gaming, though they like the monitor.
“It was causing dizziness at first and now causing eye strain after prolonged use.”
Their AW3926QW also drops the DisplayPort 2.1 signal repeatedly while gaming on an RTX 5090, even on the latest monitor firmware.
“I also have this issue while playing ARC Raiders with the same Silkland cable and a 5090.”
Two and a half years with the AW3225QF: an MMO action bar burned in, and Dell's burn-in warranty sent a refurbished replacement within days.
“they just asked me for a couple pictures and sent a replacement”
Tried three DisplayPort cables and still can't run the AW3926QW at full resolution and refresh rate from a 9070 XT; stuck at 120 Hz.
“I’ve tried three dp cables. My 9070xt can’t get the monitor to run at full speed and full resolution.”
Bought the AW3926QW at release: colours and text clarity were excellent, but it died after two weeks.
“It looked amazing, colors were much better and text was crystal clear. It died on me in 2 weeks”
Moved from LG's 45-inch 5K2K to the AW3926QW and won't go back: better value, a less aggressive curve and a newer tandem panel.
“I "upgraded" from the 45" 5K2K and I am not going back.”
One day in, finds the AW3926QW's uniformity and green tint annoying.
“I have this monitor now also for a day, the uniformity and green tint is annoying.”
Traded an LG 45GX950A for the 39GX950B and the AW3926QW; in TrueBlack 500 the Alienware's HDR matches the 45-inch, and Peak 1300 adds some ABL but outstanding colour vibrancy.
“if you use the Peak 1300 mode, you'll gain some ABL, but also gain some outstanding color vibrancy.”
Their AW3423DW still has VRR flicker despite its G-Sync module.
“I have one with gsync module, and it still flickers. AW3423DW.”

“I have one myself, and gray uniformity is definitely an issue.”

“Overall it's a very great moniter for me, text clarity is great and don't see any fringing”
Their Gigabyte MO27Q28GR is very bright with amazing HDR, perfect colours and zero banding.
“I have gigabyte mo27q28gr it’s awesome monitor very bright”
Owns the Gigabyte MO32U24 and is super satisfied with zero complaints.
“I have the gigabyte and I’m honestly super satisfied zero complaints about it.”
The glossy LG 27GX704A-B looks amazing in single-player games, but VRR flicker ruins shooters and they play worse than on their old 360Hz IPS.
“G-sync is worthless on these panels since the flickering will literally give you a headache in 5 seconds”
Their MO27Q28G arrived with heavy gray banding at 90% grey and is being replaced, though it still looked better than any monitor they'd owned.
“And the crazy thing is, that it still looked so much better than any other monitor I have owned before haha”
Their LG 27GX790A-B shows no VRR flicker in games, only on loading screens, with a 9800X3D.
“I have the lg27gx790a-b (old woled) no problem with vrr outside of loading screen. In game 0 flickering.”
Had a lot of VRR flicker on their AW3225QF, unlike their LG 45-inch 5K2K.
“I have almost no flicker on the LG 45" 5k2k while I had a lot on the aw3225qf”

“MSI 321 URX. It’s 240 hz 4k, I’ve just bought it and i absolutely love it!”
Finds their original PG32UCDM incredible; even DLSS Performance looks razor sharp.
“I have the OG pg32ucdm and it’s incredible.”
After about two years on a 32-inch 4K OLED, moved to the AW3426DW and loves it; 1440p ultrawide suits their 4070 Ti Super and single-player games.
“I love it dearly, but I also "only" have a 4070 Ti Super so 1440p is kind of a sweet spot there.”
Enjoying their MSI MPG 491CQP 49-inch QD-OLED.
“am enjoying my msi MPG 491CQP QD-OLED, 49 Curved OLED Gaming Monitor”
Bought a used XG27AQDMG for $250; it passed a grey and burn-in check and is like new, used for PS5 and PC.
“It’s in great condition, I did a grey test, as well as a checking for any burn in & it’s basically brand new!”
Moved from a Dell G3223Q to the 39-inch AW3926QW: the OLED upgrade is amazing, and they use the KVM and PIP to switch between a MacBook Pro and a gaming PC.
“The OLED upgrade alone is amazing over my Dell G3223Q (4k 144hz) and bump to 165 hz is nice.”
Likes their LG 39-inch 5K2K, but some in-game UI elements are too small to read at that resolution and the monitor is a bit bigger than they'd like.
“I like my LG 39 5k2k but the biggest issue for me is that some ui elements in game don't play nice for me.”
Bought the XG27AQWMG; expensive with banding and DSE, but worth it to them.
“It was expensive and has problems but was worth it for me.”
Their new XG32UQWMS has excellent uniformity with no gray banding, very good colour and high brightness.
“My monitor arrived today XG32UQWMS and the uniformity of the screen is excellent”
Returned the LG 27GX704A-B a few days in because of VRR flicker.
“Returned it few days ago because of vrr flicker.”
Returned a glossy ASUS XG27AQWMG over reflections and brightness pumping; 20 hours into the matte MO27Q28G, $220 cheaper, they're super happy with no noticeable pumping.
“Super happy with my MO27Q28G so far.”
Has loved their AW3225QF for a couple of years; an RTX 5080 runs 100–160 fps at native 4K in most games.
“I love mine. Got it a couple years ago for about the same price.”
Runs the MSI 321URX with an RTX 5090 and won't upgrade until a 6K 240Hz QD-OLED arrives.
“I won’t upgrade the monitor until a monitor with the following specs comes out:”
Coming from a 27-inch LG IPS, finds the AW3426DW nuts.
“I'm coming from a 27" lg gaming IPS which was good but this is nuts.”
Runs the AW3926QW on a 5080 and finds it handles 5K2K well unless you need 144+ fps everywhere, e.g. 80+ fps in Crimson Desert with DLAA.
“I have the AW39 with the 9800x3D and 5080. Before purchasing the monitor I went mad thinking my GPU would not be enough.”
Came from an ASUS QD-OLED and finds the LG 39-inch 5K2K excellent and noticeably brighter than the Alienware; the matte coating shows only on white or very bright backgrounds.
“I have the LG 39inch 5k2k and it’s excellent.”
Returned the XG27AQWMG after two weeks: the glossy reflections were too much and brightness fluctuations drove them crazy.
“I had an ASUS XG27AQWMG for a couple of weeks and ultimately returned it because the reflections from the glossy coating were just too much for me.”
Bought the XG32UQWMS for $700; much better grey uniformity than their XG27AQWMG.
“Much better grey uniformity than my aqwmg even tho it’s another tandem”
Their MO27Q28G has only minor banding, almost invisible except in the darkest scenes.
“I have a pretty good one with just minor banding, which is almost invisible.”
Their AW3225QF has been great, one of the few curved 32-inch 4K OLEDs, and is often discounted.
“I have it and it's been great you can get it at a good price it gets discounted often.”
Their AW3926QW arrived with the right side noticeably dimmed; the dimming eased after a few hours and nearly disappears in HDR 1300 Bright at full brightness.
“Same situation here, EU, Dec delivery brought forward and received today. also exactly the right side noticably dimmed”
Has owned the AW3225QF since release and it's been amazing: great out-of-box calibration and an immersive slight curve at 4K 240Hz.
“Since it was released and shipped I’ve had and owned the 3225qf and it’s been amazing”
Owns the AW3225QF and an ASUS 1440p IPS; the 4K OLED is clearly sharper and better overall.
“The difference is huge but that’s mainly down to panel technologies.”
Their AW3225QF showed persistent rectangles that a panel clean and pixel clean fixed.
“Got the same issue w my aw3225qf And it fix it”
One Dell U2424HE developed a loud noise and both replacements came with a yellow tint and lower brightness.
“One has gotten a very loud squeezing noise issue.”
No banding on their MO27Q28G at 240Hz, even on greyscale tests.
“I don't see any even during the greyscale tests on my MO27Q28G set to 240 Hz”
Had the LG 39GX950B for a few days and was impressed by its brightness with no auto-dimming problems; the matte screen wasn't a big deal and colours were good after some tweaking.
“I had it for a few days and was genuinely impressed by the brightness.”
After trying the LG 39GX950B, switched to the 45GX950B: the most immersive experience they've had, with softer text that isn't bad and gaming on another level.
“For me it's the most immersive experience I've had. Text is softer, but it's not bad, and gaming is on another level.”
Tried the AW3926QW and returned it because of poor panel uniformity and CPC edge dimming, preferring LG's 45-inch 5K2K.
“tested the AW and returned it.”
Returned the LG 39-inch three times over six months: great for gaming, but smearing in web browsing and productivity under their office lighting bothered them.
“I’ve legit returned the 39” LG like 3 times over 6 months.”
Compared the LG 45-inch and the Alienware 39 in store, got eye strain on the 45, and chose the AW3926QW for its higher pixel density and glossy screen; no regrets.
“With the higher ppi and preference for glossy, I got the 39AW and no regrets.”
Found the LG 39-inch OLED gave them crippling eye strain and judges it poor for content creation and 3D work.
“There is also an eye strain issue that absolutely crippled me with the LG39.”
Really happy with the AW3926QW: insanely immersive, the 330 Hz mode is a bonus, and after a few pixel refreshes even 5% grey uniformity looks excellent; auto dimming is the only real complaint.
“39" at 5K is insanely immersive and OLED looks ridiculous in games like this.”
Their AW3926QW from Dell France shows severe uniformity problems: only the centre looks right, with a green tint and lower brightness along the top and sides on white pages.
“It turns out that wasn't the case at all, in fact for me it looks even worse in person than in the photo from my iPhone.”
Their July-built AW3926QW had the same uniformity problems, so they returned it and bought the LG 39-inch on sale instead.
“Mine was from July and was just as bad. After seeing so many examples with the same issue I decided to send it back.”
Had both the AW3926QW and the LG 39GX950B and returned the Alienware because the uniformity was so bad; matched the LG's sharpness with a tweak.
“I had both and the uniformity was so bad I returned it.”
Finds the AW3926QW only okay: tired of washed-out edges from auto-dimming and prefers brightness over OLED blacks, so is considering returning it for a bright LCD.
“The Alienware is okay but I'm getting tired of the washed out saturation on the edges due to auto-dimming.”
Their AW3926QW doesn't show the edge-dimming issue; they call it a cinema screen, though not the pick for bright PvP games.
“I have it and I dont have that issue on my unit but maybe I dont run it as bright as everybody else!”
Chose the AW3926QW as their first OLED, partly on price; happy with it so far in a room that isn't very bright.
“I went with the AW39 based on price and it would be my first oled, I’m happy with it so far.”
Their AW3926QW was dead on arrival and arranging a return took over an hour on the phone; considering the LG instead.
“Mine was DOA and it wont even give me the option to return/exchange.”
Their new Dell U3225QE's whites look pink next to their U2723QE and MacBook.
“The U3225QE’s white looks noticeably pink/magenta to me compared with the U2723QE.”
A few weeks gaming on the ASUS PG32UCDM3: the pinnacle of QD-OLED with insane colour and TrueBlack 500.
“The PG32UCDM3 is the absolute pinnacle of QD OLEDs”
Returned the LG 39GX950B after one night with the AW3926QW, which is now their favourite monitor for immersion and gaming.
“I returned my 39GX950B immediately after my first night with the AW. it’s by far my favorite monitor”

Two weeks with the AW3926QW after returning the LG 39-inch: the glossy finish gives more depth and contrast, brightness is plenty coming from QD-OLED, and the RGB layout makes text clearer than expected for coding.
“After spending more time with the AW, I’m extremely happy with my decision to keep it over the LG.”
Returned the AW3926QW in favour of the U4025QW because the glossy screen's reflections were distracting even in a controlled room and they didn't want to micromanage OLED burn-in.

“I've had this monitor for about 6 months really like how the brightness of the colors come from each individual pixel”
After testing other ultrawides, the Acer X34 X5 is the best for the price, with amazing brightness and a comfortable 1800R curve.
“I had the Alienware Oled monitor but returned it and have tested other ultrawides and I think this is the best for the price.”
Returned the LG 45GX950A after three weeks of coding because of eye strain.
“had an lg45gx950a which I did coding on, had to return it after 3 weeks due to eye strain.”
After using both, they prefer the AW3926QW for its glossy coating and more natural HDR.
“But in the end I liked aw3926qw more, not only because it is glossy”
HDR on their LG 39GX950B felt overdone and the matte coating showed on white screens.
“On LG it feels "overreacting"”
Measured their ASUS XG27ACDNG and found the factory calibration very good.
“I have this monitor and a colorimeter and found the factory calibration to be very good out of the box.”
Their AW3225QF stutters at 240Hz, still after a warranty swap, so they run it at 120Hz.
“My aw3225qf struggles when I set the refresh rate to 240. It looks terrible and stuttery”
Keeping the AW3926QW: about 95–98% uniform to their eye and fantastic for gaming alongside mostly office work.
“TLDR Verdict: I will be keeping it, gaming looks really fantastic”
They wish their PG27UCDM were much brighter, but it beats the WOLED panel lottery.
“i have a pg27ucdm and I would prefer it to be at least 50% brighter.”
Their open-box LG 39GX950B was excellent and very close to the AW3926QW, but they preferred glossy and returned the LG.
“The LG was excellent too.”
Planned to return the AW3926QW, but their panel is solid and they're keeping it; only gripes are no speakers and pixel orbiting.
“I got lucky, the panel is solid… pretty much my only gripes are not having speakers and the pixel orbiting is annoying.”
After owning both, they kept the AW3926QW over the LG 39GX950B: very close, but the glossy coating, satisfying HDR and lower price tipped it.
“My Alienware is brand new, I prefer its glossy presentation, I’m satisfied with its brightness and HDR performance”
Upgrading from an AW3423DW, their AW3926QW looks uniform and very sharp at 30 inches away.
“So far the Panel looks uniform, and super super sharp.”
Their AW3926QW has some orange/yellow uniformity issues but amazing greys, and is a clear upgrade over their AW3423DWF.
“I was dreading gray band issues moving to a WOLED, but the grays on the AW3926QW actually turned out amazing.”
Switching from an Odyssey OLED G9, the AW3926QW's resolution, text clarity, colour and HDR are a big upgrade despite aggressive dimming and uniformity flaws.
“Despite its flaws, the AW3926QW has changed what I now expect from an ultrawide monitor.”
Returned the LG 39GX950B over VRR flicker when 5K2K frame rates dropped, even on an RTX 5090.
“I ended up returning the LG 39GX950B and getting an ASUS PG32UCDM3 instead.”
The PG32UCDM3 has incredible colour with no noticeable VRR flicker.
“The colors and vibrancy of the PG32UCDM3 are incredible and no noticeable VRR flicker is what sold it for me.”
Owner of a couple of weeks is really happy and uses the inbuilt KVM to switch between three computers, mainly a MacBook Pro for contracts and Excel.
“Really happy with it. The inbuilt KVM is great”
New owner saw little of the reported banding issues in their first eight hours.
“Didn't really see much of the issues talked about here out of the box.”
Their replacement AW3926QW looks much better, but whites still dim greyish at the edges.
“I got a replacement from them awhile back and this panel finally looks a lot better”
A couple of months with the AW2725Q on the latest firmware and it has been great so far.
“I bought an AW2725Q a couple of months ago and so far it's been great.”
Their LG 45GX950A has perfect uniformity, the most balanced HDR and the most immersion, but some grey banding and minor retention.
“The 45GX950A is, surprisingly, the most balanced of the displays”
Their favourite overall, the LG 39GX950B has the brightest HDR, but the worst grey banding and some image retention between refreshes.
“the 39GX950B has the worst grey banding of the lot.”
Upgrading from a 34-inch Samsung for spreadsheets and documents, the owner finds the usable space unmatched but wishes the curve were tighter.
“I agree with the community feedback that a slightly tighter curve than 4200R would make the far edges easier to view, but the usable space is unmatched.”
Their one-week-old ASUS XG27ACDNG was left with stains after cleaning saliva spots.
“which is only one week old”
After 3 weeks on the LG 39GX950B, the AW3926QW wins for dark-room gaming: perfect glossy coating, accurate HDR tracking and colour.
“Glossy coating - it’s perfect, you can see all the fine micro details that you can’t see on the LG 39 GX”
Three weeks with the LG 39GX950B: the matte finish hurts dark-room gaming and HDR presets track poorly, over- or undersaturated.
“Matte finish - Yes, it ruins the monitor in a dark room while gaming.”
Side by side with the LG 39GX950B, the glossy AW3926QW has more vivid colour and deeper blacks, though it reflects window light more.
“The colors definitely pop more on the glossy Alienware screen and makes the LG look a little washed out in comparison”
Their LG 39GX950B gets brighter than the AW3926QW but looked a little washed out next to it and flickered in black transitions.
“Noticed flickering in black transition scenes in games on the LG”
Returned their Alienware 39-inch 5K2K (AW3926QW) after edge dimming grew more noticeable and a panel test showed a faulty panel.
“The dimming was more noticeable from use and a panel test showed faulty performance on my specific panel so I'm returning it.”
Two weeks with the ASUS PG27UCDM: crisp text, beautiful colour and HDR, but blacks turn purple in light so they're going back to LG.
“I must say, this thing is a beauty!”
The ASUS XG27UCDMG's on/off click annoyed them at first but they stopped noticing it.
“after two weeks I don't notice anymore”
Moved from an AOC Q27G3XMN to the Gigabyte MO27Q28GR: much better in dark scenes, slight DSE, no grey banding.
“Tldr: Switched to Oled from mini LED and loving it.”
About 2,000 hours on the AW3225QF, gaming and spreadsheets 16 hours a day, with no burn-in.
“I’m about 2000 hours of use into my AW3225QF, no burn in at all. Gaming and spreadsheets 16 hours a day.”
Loves their Gigabyte MO27Q28GR; a firmware update unlocks the best HDR mode.
“I love this monitor, got it when it was on sale like 2 weeks ago on amazon too.”
Owner calls it a great monitor at £450 and says OLED care runs when the PC is off.
“I have one. A great monitor. Especially if you got it on a deal, think I paid £450”
Owner with an RX 9070 XT can't get Windows to detect HDR on any cable or setting.
“HDR is enabled on the monitor (True Black 400), but Windows says "HDR not supported".”
Owner has the same wake-from-sleep issue and must hard reboot their PC.
“I have this same issue. It is extremely annoying and to get it to come back on, I have to hard reboot my PC.”
Loves their AOC Q27G3XMN and is happy without an OLED for now.
“I love my aoc q27g3xmn :)”
Owner loves it except it often fails to wake after a long sleep, staying off after image cleaning on the latest firmware.
“I love every single thing about this monitor but one - I am having all kinds of problems waking it from sleep.”
