Tried the LG 38GL950G, 45GX950A and 39GX950B and the U4025QW over a year; the Dell was their favourite, used 80% for Mac productivity and 20% PC gaming, with a little ghosting coming from OLED that doesn't bother them.

Owns the Neo G9 57-inch and finds games like Forza Horizon 6 and Destiny 2 look unreasonably good on it with settings maxed.

Moved from a 1080p TN panel to the AW3225QF with an RTX 5070 Ti and calls the first time using 4K 240 Hz OLED an almost religious experience.

A first-time OLED owner upgrading from a 10-year-old IPS says the Alienware AW3226Q has not blown them away: HDR makes Windows look washed out, colours don't pop without it, and the settings are overwhelming.

A buyer returned the ASUS XG27AQDMG shortly after purchase because of grey banding, which they say is a common problem on this model and the forum fixes did not help.

After replacing a scratched QD-OLED, an owner says the matte coating on their LG 32GS95UE has proven durable and much easier to clean.

After returning an AW3926QW with QC issues, picked up the AW3426DW; amazing, but after 5K2K they missed the bigger screen and plan to return it.

After an AW3821DW and two AW3423DWs with flickering and burn-in, moved to the U4025QW and calls it maybe their best purchase ever.

Uses the Neo G9 57-inch for productivity on a 55-inch desk; needed a desk mount to push it back and still feels heat on their face, and an FPS game made them dizzy within minutes.
“It's ridiculously big. I use mine for productivity. I played a FPS game once with it and got dizzy AF after few minutes, never again.”
Their AW3225QF's OSD joystick has misbehaved since day one; Dell blamed a controller fault, and after three years they took the monitor apart to inspect the joystick and ribbon cable themselves.

An LG 32GS95UE owner reports no issues with their unit, says everything is clear and crisp, and uses the 480Hz mode a lot with very good results.

Their first AW3926QW had atrocious edge dimming; the September 2026 replacement is far better, with only faint green tint on all-white images, and has been rock solid.

Has used both the LG 39-inch 5K2K and the Alienware 39; the LG's brightness and pop in bright HDR scenes stand out, the matte finish was a non-issue, though reds looked a little off and it lacks the glossy screen's inky blacks.

Bought the Neo G9 57-inch at launch and returned it because of how much heat it gave off.

After a couple of weeks with the AW3926QW: CPC dimming never showed in HDR gaming but was very noticeable at low brightness on white documents at first, since less so; off-axis gamma shift is noticeable but not annoying.

Enjoying the AW3426DW: great text clarity and much brighter HDR than earlier OLEDs they've used; uses HDR True Black 500.

Bought both the U4025QW and the AW3926QW; the Dell's matte finish handled reflections better, its brightness was easier to tune with no hotspots, and the candle-light mode is very comfortable on the eyes.

Recently bought the Neo G9 57-inch and still thinks it's great, but it runs hot enough that they keep a desk fan on it to move the heat away from their hands.

Tried the AW3926QW and the discolouration at the sides was bad enough that grey and white chat messages looked the same; returning it within the return window.

Their AW3426DW's control board failed after three days: the OSD kept opening and scrolling on its own, then stopped responding; they ordered a replacement.

Owns both the U4025QW and the AW3926QW; can't get the Dell's IPS brightness dialled in comfortably and finds its matte finish more noticeable than the Alienware's gloss with a light behind the monitor.

Bought the Neo G9 57-inch open box nearly two years ago and it has been perfectly fine with the 2.0/2.1 firmware update; used it for work, now only for gaming, and sometimes wishes it were OLED.

Only notices the AW3926QW's edge dimming on a plain white browser after staring hard; in games, including World of Warcraft with UI at the edges, everything looks perfect.

Highly recommends the AW3426DW for its QD-OLED picture and the best screen coating they've seen; no anomalies or flicker, but they miss DisplayPort over USB-C for their laptop.

After a month with the U4025QW beside the AW3926QW: the Dell has the better text clarity and is the pick for colour-critical work and mostly-productivity users; its response time is perfectly fine for Arc Raiders.

Sold their Neo G9 57-inch, regretted it and bought another; after trying an LG C2, the AW3225QF and a Samsung 32-inch QD-OLED, still finds the 57-inch the most satisfying.

Their July 2026 AW3926QW shows no visible problems, and they find its quality and features for the price outstanding; the KVM works fine for them through a hub.

Moved from an LG 34GP950G-B to the AW3426DW and is happy so far; G-Sync compatibility has been fine, though the joystick shortcuts can't switch between HDR modes.

Has owned the Odyssey Neo G9 57-inch for over three years, runs it more than eight hours a day and still loves it; notes it draws only 50–60 W without HDR.

Returned two AW3926QW units: the image always looked dimmer or washed out towards the edges; the LG 39 they switched to is consistent edge to edge.
“The AW39 always felt like it had a sweet spot dead center, with the image looking noticeably dimmer or washed out as you moved toward the edges.”
A month in, finds constant HDR tweaking on the AW3426DW miserable: some games look amazing, others crushed or washed out, and ABL dimming in bright daytime scenes makes sunny areas look awful.
“There is no way you don’t notice the dimming when playing a game that’s in the daytime. The screen becomes so dark it makes the sunny areas look awful.”
Their AW3926QW flickered and went dark after half an hour of gaming; power cycling brought it back only for a few minutes.

Replaced a Dell S3422DWG VA with the AW3426DW and was underwhelmed at first by washed-out colours in SDR and HDR games; Windows HDR settings and toggling HDR modes on the monitor mostly sorted it out.

After about two days, their AW3926QW flickered and then the display went blank for good despite power cycling and new cables; they enjoyed it while it worked but are returning it for a refund.

Finds the AW3426DW great with perfect text; their only complaint is the lack of USB-C charging for a work laptop.

New AW3926QW owner in the UK: some power flickering at first that they blame on the cable, slight edge dimming on white screens that isn't too bad, otherwise great and keeping it.

Coming from an ASUS 4K OLED, found the AW3426DW washed out and dim in SDR and in every HDR mode (True Black and Peak 1300) even after adjusting settings, and is returning it; other owners in the thread say theirs look great.

Found the AW3926QW much darker than expected out of the box; got SDR and HDR looking good after tuning, but some games such as Forza Horizon 6 still felt too dark.

An Alienware AW3426DW owner coming from IPS uses True Black 500 at modest brightness and says it is so bright in Cyberpunk 2077 that they can't understand complaints about it being dim.
“Personally i use tb500. I use modest brightness settings, coming from ips if I crank it up and look at a neon light in cp2077 it burns my retinas lol.”
Their AW3926QW passed dead-pixel, banding and uniformity checks; it is a little darker than the 27-inch IPS it replaced, fine for browsing after HDR calibration, and they are happy with it.
“Tested for dead pixels, banding, uniformity, colour dimming etc. All looks good to me, perfect in fact.”
An Alienware AW3426DW owner testing HDR modes says True Black 500 with in-game brightness raised looks incredible in bright games, though it can feel slightly dim at default settings.
“In games with high average picture levels like Battlefield, True Black 500 with in-game World Brightness pushed around 80 looks incredible.”
Returned the AW3926QW despite its good £1000 price because the aggressive CPC edge dimming, which they say affects every unit, was unacceptable.
“I'm glad I returned mine even though the monitor is very well priced for £1000, is still alot of money and the CPC implementation is not acceptable.”
Went through three AW3926QW units (a scratch and a visible gap on the first two) and measured them with a calibrator: the edge dimming behaved practically the same on all three; finds 120 nits comfortable and HDR can get uncomfortably bright.

Their AW3926QW showed significant dimming on the right side with white pages on the latest firmware; gorgeous in CS2, but bought for 80% productivity work, so they are returning it.

Plays Destiny 2 on the AW3926QW with native HDR and finds highlights pop and colours accurate; edge dimming only shows on solid white and pale orange looks slightly green at the right edge, not enough to return a 5K2K RGB OLED that costs $600 less than the LG.

Has played about 50 hours of Destiny 2 on the AW3926QW in TB500 mode with Auto HDR and enjoyed it; the low-resolution dual mode looked terrible.

Coming from an LG 34-inch IPS and an LG C1, found the AW3926QW too dim for SDR browsing, with eye strain, and later returned it.

Tested the AW3926QW side by side with LG's 39-inch at matched brightness and returned the Alienware: a white-to-grey gradient on the left side was distracting on white backgrounds, a dealbreaker for a monitor that doubles for work.
“I wanted to keep the AW, but the left side of the screen had this gradient from white to gray that I couldn’t get over.”
Returned the AW3926QW partly because SDR brightness was poor next to LG's 39-inch, though text looked really good thanks to the RGB-stripe layout.

Bought two AW3926QW units and both had issues and a dim screen; coming from a PG32UCDM3 it felt like a brightness downgrade, and the LG 39GX was brighter without the problems.

About a month after mounting their AW3926QW straight from the box, a gap opened between panel and frame in two spots along the top; Dell support first called it wear and tear or physical damage not covered by warranty, then the social media team offered to look into it.

After two weeks with the AW3926QW, their first OLED: stunning picture, crisp text and deep blacks; the glossy screen's anti-reflective coating makes it more usable in a bright room than their matte Dell UltraSharp.

Owns both the AW3926QW and the U4025QW; the Alienware is far better for content and input lag, easy to set to a comfortable brightness, and its text is nearly as clear as the Dell's.

After a month using the AW3926QW beside a Dell U4025QW for office work, coding, CAD and gaming: great for documents and games, but colour isn't accurate across the whole screen for photo work, and bright morning light causes glossy glare.

Switched from a 34-inch 3440x1440 Samsung ultrawide to the Alienware 39-inch 5K2K with a 4090 and loves the extra height and the sharpness from the higher pixel density, with no performance problems so far.

Upgraded from a 38-inch Alienware IPS to the Alienware 39 OLED and finds it beautiful and far more immersive; ran it on a 4090, and now on a 5080 relies on DLSS and frame generation.

Picky about image quality, their AW3926QW shows uniformity issues on single-colour test images, but in normal use they notice only bright colours, sharpness, deep blacks and the huge size; not for all-day white spreadsheets.

As an AW3926QW owner, finds the uniformity issues only show up if you go looking for them; in gaming and HDR content they aren't noticeable and the monitor is great.

Has owned both 39-inch 5K2K OLEDs; the Alienware has excellent, punchy colour and inky blacks from its glossy screen, but overall brightness leaves something to be desired and the CPC edge dimming is annoying for productivity.

Swapped an LG 45-inch 5K2K for the Alienware 39-inch 5K2K and finds it amazing, with great-looking text.

Owned the Alienware 39-inch 5K2K and returned it because of poor uniformity for productivity work, calling it otherwise the better screen; switched to LG's 39-inch 5K2K.
“If you care for uniformity for productivity even a slight bit, get the LG. The AW is fundamentally flawed, unfortunately, because otherwise, it is the better screen.”
Stopped noticing the AW3926QW's edge dimming after a couple of weeks, except in Teams meetings where the participant list at the screen edge looks washed out; accepts it because the monitor is otherwise so good.
“I always notice how washed out the participants list looks on the edge of the screen. I’m okay with this given how good the monitor is otherwise.”
Has used the 39-inch Alienware 5K2K for six weeks: the edge dimming bothered them for the first two weeks, but they no longer notice it when gaming, and colour saturation and highlights pop more than their previous LG C5 TV.

Upgraded from the AW3423DWF to the AW3926QW with no regrets: it can look dimmer than the old monitor, but films and games at 5K2K are worth it; notes it takes a 4090 or 5090 to run games at high settings.

Went from an AW3423DW to the AW3926QW and now uses both; the QD-OLED has a bit more native colour pop, but the AW3926QW is easily matched, shows cleaner greys and has clearly better text clarity from its RGB layout and higher resolution.

Upgraded from the AW3423DWF to the AW3926QW and says the bigger size and pixel density were worth it: much sharper than the older 1440p QD-OLED with similar brightness, though the older panel's colours have a slight edge.

Bought the AW2725Q alongside an ASUS XG32UQWMS and found the ASUS blew it out of the water on brightness, black levels and features.

After 17 trouble-free months, their XG27AQDMG developed a persistent artifact that survived resets, cables and driver updates, likely needing an RMA.

Moved from a 35" ultrawide to the LG 32GX870A-B: a keeper, crisp 4K with great color depth and contrast out of the box.

Compared a Gigabyte WOLED to their PG32UCDM and says it's not even close; the PG32UCDM is far better.

Tried the AW3926QW tandem OLED and found its colors had noticeably less pop and depth than their AW3425DW QD-OLED.

Uses the MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 at 500Hz for CS2 and finds it beautiful and great for their game.

Comparing against the AW3926QW, their AW3425DW QD-OLED has noticeably more color pop and depth and better viewing angles.

The XG27ACDNG had amazing colors but some flicker at 360Hz and dim whites; after trying a tandem WOLED that looked flat, they bought the ASUS back.

Their new AW3226Q was dead on arrival (power LED blinking SOS); Dell arranged an exchange via email support.

The AW3426DW has been amazing at 1440p; OLED was a life-changer and they can't go back to IPS.
